Our Inspiration
OUR SOUCE OF INSPIRATION IS OUR NATURAL HERITAGE. 20,000 PLANT SPECIES ARE FOUND IN SOUTH AFRICA - AN ASTONISHING 10% OF ALL PLANTS FOUND ON EARTH. THE CREATIVE CREATIONS ARE DRAWN FROM THE BEAUTIFUL AND INDIGENOUS FLORA AROUND US.
THE FLORET
The Agapanthus Africanus (common name Ubani in Zulu) is the inspiration for our Floret hairstyle. The buds which start opening in early June have beautiful botanical detail.
THE FLORAL POMPOM

THE BOUQUET
The Erythrina Lysistemon (common name Mokhungwane in Sotho) is the inspiration of our Bouquet hairstyle. The tree has dazzling flowers that have make it one of the best known and widely grown South African trees. It grows in a wide range of altitudes from wooded kloofs, dry woodlands, dry savanna and coastal dune bush.
THE PROTEA KNOTS
The King Protea (common name IsiQwane esincinci in Xhosa) is our inspiration for the Protea Knots hairstyle. The King Protea is the national flower of South Africa. It is widely distributed in the southwestern and southern parts of South Africa in the fynbos region. The flower head is a collection of flowers in the centre, surrounded by large colourful bracts.
